Dominic Edmondson

Dominic Edmondson is a seasoned technology and intellectual property lawyer with firm roots in Hong Kong and China. He boasts fluency in Mandarin and a passion for the way that technology is revolutionizing traditional business services. He has advised leading consumer and luxury goods companies, media and entertainment behemoths, and telecoms corporations on a broad range of critical legal matters, including data privacy, outsourcing, technology commercialisation, brand protection, and enforcement. Over the years, he has served in various key roles at world-class organizations such as Tencent, Walt Disney, and Hogan Lovells. He honed his practical legal skills at the University of Bristol, where he graduated with a 2:1 in Law. His mastery of the Mandarin language further deepened during his studies at Beijing Language and Culture University and National Taiwan University. Currently, Mr Edmondson is a Senior Associate at Baker McKenzie, juggling legal practice with his interest in FinTech and blockchain technologies.
