-	Primary objective is application of various quantitative and qualitative MS-based techniques to understand interactions of DNA and cellular proteins.
-	Other aims include investigating protein-protein interactions and measuring protein post translation modifications (PTM) levels by quantitative MS.
-	Supervisor of one direct report. 
-	Organization and management of over a thousand samples per month.  
-	Quality control of incoming reagents.
-	Developing novel analytical techniques to answer various questions about our proprietary technology.

Assistant Project Scientist

My primary research area includes identifying and quantifying proteins that bind to specific DNA damage lesions and studying their role in DNA repair. The role these novel DNA damage-binding proteins play in functional biology are characterized by generating CRISPR-Cas9 knockout cell lines and evaluating sensitivity to various chemical agents that result in DNA damage. The instrumentation and facilities that are utilized in my research include: LTQ Orbitrap Velos Mass Spectrometer, MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometer, Q-Exactive Plus Orbitrap Mass Spectrometer, LTQ Mass Spectrometer, TSQ Mass Spectrometer, nano-Liquid Chromatography (LC), Fluorescence Anisotropy and mammalian cell culture.
