Ben Margetts is a passionate and dedicated change-maker committed to building a better world. He holds degrees from the University of Sydney and St Francis Xavier's College. Ben has extensive experience in advocacy, communications, and political organizing, having worked with various organizations across Australia and globally to promote social and environmental justice.

Ben is currently the Campaign Director at Avaaz.org, where he leads campaigns aimed at mobilizing people power to create meaningful change. In the past, he co-founded Make Believe Strategy and Communications, where he provided strategic advice to clients on social and environmental campaigns. Ben has also served as Campaign Support at GetUp, Chair at Australian Youth Climate Coalition, and Associate at The Change Agency.

Ben has worked on several high-profile initiatives, including his coordination of the Australian Youth Delegation at UNFCCC in 2007, where he helped draft a statement with over 500 young people from around the world, advocating for stronger action on climate change. His experience also includes working with the International Youth Climate Movement, coordinating strategy for the Schools Program of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, and serving as NSW Youth Coordinator at The Greens.
