Program Analyst, Security and Facilitation at Vancouver Airport Authority

Key relationship holder with government agencies at YVR - CATSA, CBSA, USCBP, and PHAC.

Initiate and lead transformation projects and process improvements in terminal processing areas at YVR (Security, Customs, Check-in, Connections). 

Manage key terminal programs including cruise transfer operations, Terminal Electric Vehicle Operations, pre-board screening, and customs processing.

Oversee YVR’s terminal response team - terminal support and leadership during irregular operation (IRROP) events.

Work closely with engineering and design teams to initiative and deliver capital projects such as security checkpoint modernization, installation of automatic egates, installation of biometric equipment, customs hall modernization etc. 

Oversee air carrier and regional expansion of the International to Domestic (ITD) connections program to now include 80% of connecting traffic through YVR. 

Lead the implementation and operations of YVR EXPRESS pre-board screening reservation system.

-	Tracked actual and expected passenger volumes to plan effective operating strategies across the airport including check-in counter allocation, security screening operating hours, connection facility availability, gate allocation etc.
-	Hosted capacity planning meetings with operational managers across YVR departments.
-	Maintained weekly traffic forecasts and updated capacity assessments of airport facilities.
-	Lead projects which improved efficiency, including long term gating and check-in modernization/strategies.
