James Van, M. A., CDF, is a seasoned career consultant with 25 years of experience in career counseling and recruiting for technical companies in the Bay Area.

He specializes in helping students and career transitioners align their career goals with job opportunities that provide meaning, impact, and happiness.

James excels in counseling, coaching, workshop creation, teaching, curriculum development, and program design, with a focus on career transitioning.

James Van has a Bachelor's degree in African-American/Black Studies and History from UC Santa Barbara, as well as an MA in Counselor Education from San Jose State University.
