Karen Schlesinger is a multi-talented individual with extensive experience in sustainability consulting, entrepreneurship, and product development. She holds a B.S. in Cinema & Photography from Ithaca College, an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School, and an MFA in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Throughout her career, Schlesinger has worked with prominent organizations such as FounderTherapy, Speakalyze, and Johns Hopkins Medicine. At FounderTherapy, she served as Product Director and Head of Tech for Good. Schlesinger has also made contributions as Head of Product at BOOBER and Memria, and Product Director at The Love Vote and DomainSkate.

Schlesinger is an expert in sustainability impact assessments, recycling, composting, and design thinking. She has also worked as a consultant at Climate Action Business Association and as an Environmental Sustainability Program Manager at Casella Waste Systems, Inc.

Schlesinger has a passion for mentoring and teaching. She has been an Adjunct Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a lead Sustainable Business Mentor at the Green Entrepreneurial Summer Program at the University of Alabama. Additionally, she was a Dissertation Advisor and Curriculum Advisor for the Impact-Focused Business and Investing Master's Program at Glasgow Caledonian New York College.

Schlesinger is an accomplished artist and photographer who founded the Digital Artist Space and served as an Instructor at Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a former Parks & Recreation Supervisor at NYS Parks and a co-founder & Co-Chair at Troy Night Out.
