Our mission is to help SDA Bocconi continue to produce leaders who have an impact in the business of health care. MIHMEP - Master in International Healthcare Management, Economics and Policy

The Department of Women’s and Children’s Health International leading centre that promotes the health of women and children through an integrated approach on teaching, research and assistance of excellent quality

▪ Managed the development and coordinated the conduction of a medical-communication project with a total budget of € 50K, resulted in 30% increase in effectiveness of inter-shift handovers, 20% decrease in care provision delays and saved working-time by 10%
▪ Trained over 350 nurses of 16 wards on effective communication methods, resulted in 30% increase in employees satisfaction and 20% in self-perceived communication skills
▪ Developed classroom handouts, instructional materials, directed structured learning experiences and monitored results
▪ Performed in-depth ad-hoc analysis about the effectiveness of inter-shift handovers to identify training needs and presented insights to Department Board to evaluate feasibility and costs of changing the standard clinical practice in line with JCAHO and WHO recommendations

Research Nurse - Training Specialist

The Paediatric Haematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Clinic is an International leading centre for the diagnosis and treatment of children with neoplastic and haematological Diseases. 

▪ Managed the development and contributed to the conduction of a feasibility study with a total budget of €140K: Role of SAMITAL® in prevention of CT/RT-induced oral mucositis in paediatric cancer patients
▪ Coordinated, supervised and successfully completed over 15 phase I, II and III  clinical trials on innovative therapies for paediatric cancer patients
▪ Supervised clinical staff, including Physicians and Nurses, in protocol changes and compliance with ICHs GCP guidelines.
▪ Collaborated with PIs on protocol reviews, IRB applications, annual reports, budget preparation, internal billing and external publication processes.
▪ Created and implemented SOPs and improved clinical operations efficiency by 20% in one year.
▪ Provided appropriate specialized care (Case Manager) for bone marrow transplant/oncology paediatric patients and their families
