Avidan Ross
Avidan Ross is a well-known founding partner of Root Ventures, a deep-tech seed fund with a mission to harness the potential of engineering in the current-changing world. Ross serves as an active board member for many organizations, including Nautilus Labs, Particle, Esper, and others. He is a graduate of Columbia University in the City of New York where he earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Additionally, he has served as the Chief Technology Officer/Investments at CIM Group, L.P. and worked as a Network Software Engineering Intern at Excite@Home.
In his past, Ross has established himself as an expert in food robotics and authored the book Where to Drink Coffee at Phaidon. He has also worked as a TV pilot host and genuinely enjoys exploring the intersection between food and technology.
