Richard Davis

Richard Davis is a seasoned mechanical engineer with expertise in bioprocessing, vascular, and optical medical devices. Armed with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Southern California, Richard has developed a resourceful and results-driven approach to engineering. Richard has hands-on experience in equipment design and qualification, line layout and validation, new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, regulatory compliance, CAPA, root cause analysis, statistical process control, risk management, and Lean Six Sigma.

Richard has worked as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Intuitive Surgical and Finesse Solutions, where he was responsible for new product introduction, operations SWAT team, sensor and consumables, line support, CAPA, SPC and process owner, advanced engineering. Richard also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer - Technician Supervisor at Abbott Vascular, BVS/DES Research and Development Intern at Abbott Vascular, and Implant Systems Research and Development Intern at Abbott Medical Optics.
