Jay Yadav

Jay S. Yadav, MD is a renowned interventional cardiologist and entrepreneur with a track record of innovating novel technology for the development of disease treatments. With over 200 peer-reviewed publications and more than 40 patents, Yadav is the founder of several successful companies, including CardioMEMS and Angioguard Inc., which were later acquired by St. Jude Medical and Johnson & Johnson, respectively. He was also a director of SMART Therapeutics, which was acquired by Boston Scientific. Yadav serves as the CEO of MiRus and holds many leadership positions in non-profit organizations. He has won several awards for his contributions to science and entrepreneurship, including the American Heart Association Top Ten Scientific Advances and the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Yadav holds a degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University, earned his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in Duke University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
