Satheesh Bandaram

Satheesh Bandaram is a professional with a strong background in Computer Science, holding a Bachelor's degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

With extensive experience in the tech industry, Satheesh has held various high-level positions in renowned organizations. He served as the Executive Director for IBM Big Data with Hadoop, Spark, and BigSQL for Cloud and On-Premises solutions. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Research and Development at Zimbra, and also contributed as the Engineering Director at VMware.

Satheesh Bandaram's career includes key roles at IBM, where he served as a Technical and Product Manager for several important products such as DB2 Connect, OQCR, PureQuery, OPM EI, and OCM Runtime. His expertise spans across different domains within the tech industry.

Before his time at IBM, Satheesh gained valuable experience at Informix as a Staff Software Engineer, at Sybase as a Senior Software Engineer, and at the Center for Development of Advanced Computing as a Member of the Technical Staff.

Education-wise, Satheesh Bandaram started his academic journey at Sri Venkateswara Junior College before pursuing his passion for Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
