Jonathan Levin is the Dean of Stanford Graduate School of Business, overseeing a mission to cultivate innovative and principled leaders who drive global change.

An accomplished economist specializing in industrial organization, with a research focus on diverse areas such as auction design, consumer finance, internet platforms, and technological advancements.

Recipient of the prestigious John Bates Clark Medal in 2011 and appointed to the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology in 2022.

Education includes a PhD in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, M.Phil. in Economics from the University of Oxford, and BA/BS in English and Mathematics from Stanford University.

Held various important positions at Stanford University, such as President, Holbrook Working Professor of Price Theory, Philip H. Knight Professor and Dean of Stanford GSB, Chair of the Department of Economics, and Associate/Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics.
