Heelprint Communications is a strategic communications firm operated by students of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The agency handles real world client needs ranging from digital promotion to traditional public relations.

During my year as an executive with the agency Heelprint handled work for 3 clients, with projects ranging from 2 week to 2 month commitments and scope ranging from regionally to nationally focused campaigns. As COO, I handled client relations, client and team recruitment, coordinated with the senior producers on project and team management and worked with the CEO to define vision and lay out a roadmap for the agency.

Worked closely with business development team in developing partnerships, securing prizes and desiging cross-promotional opportunites with leading brands and tastemakers across many industries (including nightlife, art, food, and clothing). These partnerships were aimed at strategic growth, through curated content and email newsletter cross-promotions.  

Collaborated with the Public Relations and Marketing team on the development of white papers for new features and in the deployment of press releases. Also worked with the content and design team, on deploying a new blog to better feature the wealth of content the team had authored since their original launch in October of 2010.
