Jenny Hoogewerf-McComb

Jenny Hoogewerf-McComb is a higher education administrator and non-practising solicitor with a keen interest in student conduct, equality, and diversity.

As a future MJur student at Durham University, she has been awarded the prestigious Bond Dickinson research masters scholarship to conduct a research project on adjudicating student sexual violence cases in English higher education institutions.

In 2017, Jenny was honored as a Churchill Fellow and traveled to the United States and Canada to study and report on building international best practices in responses to campus sexual violence.

Her educational background includes studying at Central Newcastle High School, Neville's Cross Primary School, completing the GDL Law conversion course at City University London, and earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.

With a diverse professional history, Jenny has held positions such as Faculty Support Officer at Durham University, Governor at Benfield School, Student Cases Coordinator at Durham University, Associate at Eversheds LLP, Trainee Solicitor at Clifford Chance LLP, and Vice President (Women) at Oxford University Student Union.
