Todd R. Medd, AIA, NCARB

Todd Medd is the Practice Studio Leader and Director of Healthcare at JLG Architects, a comprehensive architecture firm operating in twelve Midwest markets with over 100 employees.

In his role, Todd oversees visioning, design, and project direction for healthcare and research projects, while also leading strategy and business development for the healthcare studio.

Driven by a commitment to realizing clients' and end users' visions, Todd collaborates with teams to create innovative design solutions that inspire and promote healing.

With a focus on rural healthcare transformation, Todd engages with health systems, industry leaders, and project teams to drive positive change.

Todd Medd holds a license as an Architect, is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is a member of prestigious organizations like the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Healthcare Engineers.

He is also a part of the JLG Architects Board of Directors, contributing to the firm's strategic direction and decision-making.

Todd pursued his education in Architecture and American History, earning a M.Arch from the University of Utah, a BA in American History (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of North Dakota, and studied Architecture at North Dakota State University.

His extensive professional experience includes roles such as Principal Architect, Director of Healthcare Practice Studio at JLG Architects, Project Manager, and positions at other renowned firms like HKS Architects, Inc. and MJSA Architecture.

Additionally, Todd has a background in academia, having served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Dakota.
