Rachel Star is an accomplished venture capital investor and corporate strategist with a track record of success in early-stage consumer companies. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing and Design Engineering, Rachel pursued a double major in Psychology at Northwestern University.

Rachel began her career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she was instrumental in driving strategic initiatives for some of the world's biggest brands. Later, she served as Corporate Strategy at Nordstrom, where she helped the company expand its reach and improve its business operations. Her expertise in strategy and design led her to work as a Design & Development engineer at SparkTruck, where she developed products and prototypes that inspired children to pursue STEM fields.

Currently, Rachel serves as a Venture Capital Investor at Shasta Ventures, where she helps identify and invest in promising consumer companies. With her extensive experience in strategy, design, and engineering, Rachel is well-poised to identify exciting investment opportunities in the consumer space.
