George Rede

George Rede is a versatile writer, editor, and collaborative leader known for championing diversity in his projects and hiring practices. With a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from San Jose State University, a mid-career fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities at the University of Michigan, and management training from Northwestern University, he has honed his skills as a communicator and manager. With a track record of planning and leading regional writing conferences and job fairs, he has also served on the boards of several local and national organizations. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Portland State University and formerly at Washington State University Vancouver, Rede has also worked as a Communications Coordinator at Portland Workforce Alliance and as a Journalist at The Oregonian / OregonLive.com.
