Robyn Ward is an experienced startup professional with over 20 years of experience in operations and investment. She is the CEO of FounderForward, a coaching and advisory firm that specializes in leadership development, team-building, and culture-building. With current and past clients including Ritual, Ordermark, NEXT Trucking, Tala, STEM, and Toucan, among others, Robyn has a wealth of experience in guiding startups towards success.
Prior to FounderForward, Robyn was the head of the strategic investment arm of United Talent Agency, where she drove investments in companies such as Patreon, Mik Mak, and Thrive Market. She has also held various business development and operations positions in venture-backed startups such as Docstoc (acquired by Intuit) and Verified Person (acquired by Sterling Talent).
Robyn is an expert in fostering diversity and inclusivity within the tech industry and has been recognized as a Top Woman in LA Tech by DigitalLA and a Top LA Tech Ambassador by TechWeek. She is deeply committed to increasing the number of women founders and funders and serves as a board member of The Women Founders Network (WFN).
With her extensive experience in coaching, advising, and mentoring, Robyn is a sought-after speaker at entrepreneurship-focused events, where she shares her expertise on leadership, team management, company culture, and diversity in tech. She holds a BS in Business Administration with a focus on entrepreneurship and finance from the University of Southern California and has completed coaching programs at Hudson Institute and iPEC Coaching.
