Amir Allana is a dedicated paramedic and health services researcher with a strong interest in integrated care models.

With international experiences in countries like Canada, Uganda, and Ghana, Amir has a diverse background in poverty reduction, governance, and public planning.

His areas of expertise include community-based care, social determinants of health, complexity science, systems thinking, and learning organizations.

Amir is well-versed in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, honed during his academic pursuits, including an MSc in Health Services Research and a BASc in Engineering Science, both from the University of Toronto.

Throughout his career, Amir has held various roles in organizations such as Toronto Paramedic Services, Independent Electricity System Operator, Engineers Without Borders Canada, and University of Toronto, showcasing his versatility and adaptability.
