Khodeza Hossain is an international Research and Evaluation specialist with a wealth of experience in designing and implementing monitoring and results measurement tools, advanced quantitative and qualitative research, and various evaluation methods. She has worked extensively with international donor agencies like DFAT, DFID, SDC, DANIDA, and the World Bank, as well as implementing agencies including WACC Global, Swisscontact, Palladium International, British Council, and other non-profits. Her work has focused on areas such as Media & Gender, Women's Economic Empowerment, Private Sector Development, Challenge funds, Skills & Employment, Poverty Reduction, and Climate Change projects in regions spanning Asia, the Pacific, and North America.
Khodeza Hossain holds an MS in Resource & Environmental Management with a concentration in Environmental Science from North South University. She also completed her BS in Environment at the same institution. Her strong educational background has complemented her practical experience in the field of research and evaluation.
In her professional journey, Khodeza has held various key roles in reputable organizations. She currently serves as the MELKS Manager (Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, Knowledge, and Sharing) at Children Believe. Previously, she worked as a Research Coordination Consultant at the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC) and volunteered at The Mississauga Food Bank. Her experience also includes serving as a Results Measurement Short Term Adviser to the Market Development Facility (MDF) at Palladium, a Senior Manager for Monitoring & Results Measurement at Swisscontact for both the Skills & Employment Programme and Katalyst projects, as well as in other management and consultancy roles at Swisscontact. Before this, Khodeza had roles as a Researcher at Socio-Economic Research & Development Initiatives and a Research Officer at Waste Concern Consultants.
