Emanuel Barros is a seasoned engineering manager with vast experience in research and development, boasting over 30 years of expertise in this field. He has worked on various groundbreaking technologies, including projects that have flown aboard the Space Shuttle and International Space Station, making him an industry expert in nanotechnology. Barros has been involved in numerous organizations throughout his professional journey, including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center, where he worked as a senior systems engineer and later, an engineering management/senior systems engineer. Additionally, he was formerly the enterprise technical sales and business development manager at MegaPath Inc.

As a passionate advocate for technology, Barros co-authored the Nanotechnology for Telecommunications textbook to help teach others about the technology. He's also the former principal founder, CEO, and CTO at NanoMatrix, Inc. and an accomplished engineering consultant at Barros Engineering Consulting. In his time at Tesla, Barros also served as the TAG Heuer Tesla Odyssey Tour Driver.

Barros received his BS in Computer Science from National University and has spent his career inspiring and building world-class teams in dynamic, growing organizations.
