Jesse Pesta is a seasoned journalist and currently serves as the deputy editor for climate and environment coverage at The New York Times.
With a background in editing articles that have been Pulitzer Prize finalists, Jesse focuses on visual, investigative, and narrative projects related to climate at the Times.
Prior to his role at The New York Times, Jesse edited investigative and narrative business reporting projects, and led the Times's Sunday Business section.
His extensive experience also includes various roles at The Wall Street Journal, such as being a 'Page One' editor, a reporter based in New Delhi covering significant events like the 9/11 crisis from Pakistan, and contributing to the creation of new sections like Personal Journal and the Weekend Money & Investing section.
Jesse Pesta is an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame and has also been associated with Columbia University Graduate School Of Journalism as an advisor on Master's projects.
