Gene Witkin

Gene Witkin is a well-respected lawyer with over 25 years of experience in business insurance coverage claims, lawsuits and risk transfer. As a founding partner of Menter & Witkin, his practice focuses primarily on contracting and business litigation, with extensive experience in liability, property, and E&O claims, as well as broker disputes and other unique issues. With proven expertise in funding large and complex commercial disputes, Mr. Witkin is licensed to practice in California, Colorado, Tennessee, and Texas. He is also licensed to practice in the Ninth and Tenth Circuits and in several federal district courts.

In addition to his legal career, Mr. Witkin volunteers extensively for a wide range of philanthropic organizations, including Special Olympics, Best Buddies, Relay for Life, Glennwood House, and Habitat for Humanity. He has also received numerous accolades throughout his career. Mr. Witkin was selected to SuperLawyers from 2015 to 2020 and has been rated as an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating possible. He is also a trained mediator and arbitrator and has served on the Orange County Mandatory Fee Arbitration Panel for many years. Mr. Witkin studied at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.
