Naveen Jain

Naveen Jain is an Indian-American entrepreneur and philanthropist, widely recognized for his innovative ventures and contributions to technology and health sciences. He is the founder and CEO of Viome Life Sciences, a company focused on using advanced molecular analysis to provide personalized health insights and nutritional recommendations based on an individual's microbiome, mitochondrial, and human gene expressions. Viome aims to prevent diseases by offering personalized nutritional plans and identifying predictive biomarkers for common diseases.1234

Jain co-founded Moon Express in 2010, where he serves as Executive Chairman. Moon Express is involved in developing robotic lunar landers for exploring and mining the moon.25 Prior to these ventures, Jain founded InfoSpace in 1996, which became one of the largest internet companies in the American Northwest during the dot-com era.5 He also founded Intelius, a company focused on organizing and providing personal information.2

Born on September 6, 1959, in India, Jain earned an engineering degree from IIT Roorkee in 1979 and later moved to the United States.5 He has been recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and has received accolades such as "Entrepreneur of the Year" and "Most Creative Person" by Fast Company.1 Jain is also involved in various philanthropic efforts and serves on the board of several organizations, including the XPRIZE Foundation and Singularity University.2
