David McBeth

Dr. David McBeth is a highly accomplished professional with a solid background in Chemistry.

He holds a Ph.D. and a B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry, both obtained from The University of Glasgow.

Dr. McBeth has held several esteemed positions in various prestigious organizations, showcasing his expertise and leadership qualities.

Currently, he serves as the Director of Research & Innovation Services at the University of Dundee, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing research endeavors.

His prior experiences include being the Director of Research & Enterprise at the University of York and serving as the Chair at AURIL, demonstrating his multifaceted skill set and versatility in different roles.

Additionally, Dr. McBeth has also held positions such as Director of Research & Knowledge Exchange Services at the University of Strathclyde, Director of Research Office at Edinburgh Napier University, and Project Manager - Commercialisation at the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

With a diverse professional journey, he has also contributed significantly to the industry, having been a Plant Manager and a Senior Research Scientist at ICI plc, Mond Division, showcasing his wide array of skills and expertise.
