Chris Dixon is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and general partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. With a background in computer science and philosophy, Dixon is an experienced programmer and has been a prolific seed investor, co-founding Founder Collective, a seed venture fund, and making numerous personal angel investments. He is also the founder and leader of a16z Crypto, which invests in web3 technologies, managing more than $3 billion in assets across three dedicated funds. Previously, Dixon was the CEO and co-founder of two startups, SiteAdvisor and Hunch, both of which were acquired by McAfee and eBay, respectively. He has also held various technical and managerial roles at companies like Alfresco, Tonic Software, and Rothbury. Dixon regularly shares his theories and experiences as an entrepreneur and investor through his blog and podcast appearances.
