Hay Benham-Archdeacon is a driven and dedicated professional with a diverse background in advocacy, community organizing, journalism, and business. With a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Service from the renowned University of California, Davis, Hay has built a successful career in recruiting coordination and brand advisory, among other fields. As a Recruiting Coordinator at UPSIDE Foods, Hay is responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and onboarding potential applicants for the company. Prior to working at UPSIDE Foods, Hay served as a Workforce Re-entry Manager and Business Account Manager at The Last Mile, helping to prepare inmates for life beyond prison walls. Hay also brings a wealth of experience in community organizing and advocacy, having worked as a Policy Advocate and Campaign Coordinator at Downtown Streets Team, and as a Communications Director at Raise the Wage: Davis. In addition, Hay has worked as a Grants Writer for Circle of Bees, Inc., and as an Assistant Editor and News Intern for Metro Newspapers. Throughout all of these experiences, Hay has shown an ability to work collaboratively with others, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to creating positive change in the world.
