Shivon Zilis is a thought leader in the field of machine intelligence for good, with a passion that drives her operations and special projects. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Yale University, Zilis pursued a career path that led her to become a Director of Operations and Special Projects at Neuralink. Prior to this, she served as a Board Member at OpenAI and a Fellow at Creative Destruction Lab. Zilis has worked in numerous prominent organizations, including Tesla and IBM, where she held various roles, including Project Director, Office of the CEO, Senior Strategist, and Thought Leadership Analyst. Besides her corporate work, Zilis has been active in the academic and educational sectors. She has held board positions in Vector Institute, Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute, and Global Community Charter School. Zilis is also a former charter member of C100, a group of Canadian expats in Silicon Valley, and a former partner at Bloomberg LP, where she served as Chief Adventurer at Bloomberg Ventures.
