TECP works with lower middle market sponsors that have a high performing company where they would like more time and dry powder to maximize value while giving liquidity to current investors.  Typically TECP invests in single asset continuation vehicles where a company has $10 million - $50 million of EBITDA.

I was also involved in several Ohio regional investment programs for my company.  The goal of these programs is to generate an investment return for our clients and to stimulate venture capital investment into Ohio companies.  This is done through investment into venture capital funds that commit to invest into Ohio companies and by direct co-investment into high potential Ohio companies.  The primary program, the Ohio Capital Fund, has been successful in generating competitive returns on its investments and has also acted as a catalyst for over $1 billion of investment into Ohio emerging companies.

Co-founded Venture Capital firm to invest in early to mid-stage technology companies in the mid-Atlantic.

Unable to raise enough capital to close fund so abandoned effort.  Received $15 million of commitments from several major institutions including Mellon Ventures but abandoned the effort when unable to reach our funding goals.

Partners were the core operating team that founded and led the growth of FORE Systems which was ultimately taken public and then sold to Marconi.

G4 Venture Partners

First investment professional hired for Mellon Bank's captive venture capital arm which grew to over $1.3 billion in assets.  Approximately $600 million was invested directly into companies and $700 million was invested into other private equity (buyout and venture capital) limited partnerships.

Led a number of successful buyout and venture capital investments including two that went public resulting in profitable exits.  Served on the board of directors of multiple companies.

Led the LP investment efforts of Mellon Ventures resulting in over $600 million of commitments to 73 funds.  The fund investments were the cornerstone of Mellon Venture's strategy
to develop co-investment relationships to drive direct investment activity.  Served on the Board of Advisors for a number of funds.
