Software Developer – Grammarly

I'm leading the Growth Monetization team from a technical perspective. I'm trying to empower and support the team in building reliable systems that give more possibilities to run A/B experiments or grow our engineering expertise. Additionally, I'm responsible for cross-team communication with external teams to align how we work together regarding services or processes.

Grammarly

Technical Lead

Primarily, I was working as a front-end engineer on websites: 

1) grammarly.com - maintaining the project and experimenting with many acquisitions flows like upgrade flow or invitation flow. Tech. stack: TypeScript, React, MobX, React-Hooks, Scala, Akka.

2) account.grammarly.com - initiated this project from scratch with React/MobX setup.

Additionally, I worked in the Editor (app.grammarly.com) to conduct some A/B experiments.

Software Engineer

I started working there at a very young age - 17. I gained most of the base skills there, from soft to hard skills. I worked as:

1. Frontend engineer - worked with product website with technologies like jQuery and then rewriting it to the MVVM approach with knockout.js.

2. Full-stack engineer - worked with ASP.NET framework with MVC approach.

3. Full-stack engineer - worked with a start-up LeadScannr using React / Redux on frontend and ASP.NET Core on backend with the NoSQL DocumentDB approach.

4. Full-stack engineer - worked on the main product using CQRS + EventSourcing + Actor model for a payment + billing system with React on the frontend.
