Chris Brown, a Principal at Inspired Capital, is an experienced venture capitalist with a history of investing in software products that solve pain points within old-line industries. He spent four years at First Round, where he played a significant role in sourcing new investments and founding Angel Track, a platform for emerging angel investors. Chris began his career at The Blackstone Group and was an active angel investor in New York before becoming a venture investor. He graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics, and he earned an MBA in Finance, Transportation, and Operations from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Chris has an impressive background with notable achievements to his name. As a co-founder of Leader Creek Partners, he had a significant part in launching venture funds that aim to support early-stage startups by providing financial and operational assistance. He was the CEO and Owner of Oak Patch Gifts, where he oversaw the entire operations of the business.
