Priti Jain

Priti Jain is a highly experienced procurement professional with a background spanning over 32 years, holding double Masters degrees. She has dedicated over 14 years to the Governance Practice at the World Bank, serving as a Senior Procurement Specialist. In this role, Priti has provided essential fiduciary support to the Government of India for various World Bank-funded projects across sectors like water supply, sanitation, agriculture, education, infrastructure, environment, and social areas. She actively engages in procurement reforms and collaborates with esteemed institutions to build the capacity of government officials, bidders, NGOs, and the private sector through tailored trainings and workshops on governance, audit, procurement, and contract management aspects. Additionally, Priti boasts 18 years of practical global procurement experience in the fertilizer sector, where she held the position of Deputy General Manager (Commercial). She played a pivotal role in establishing two of the world's largest greenfield fertilizer projects in India, focusing on capital goods procurement, international vendor development, contract negotiations, materials management, supply chain management, contractual dispute resolutions, and bulk raw material procurement, including managing vessel hires for bulk shipments worldwide for the largest DAP plant installation in India.
