Mike Wamungu is a multi-talented professional with experience in product strategy, growth and late-stage startups, and diversity and inclusion. He is highly skilled in market research, strategy, messaging, branding, and project management. Mike is a sought-after Experience Researcher at Adobe, where he uses his expertise in design research, service design, and product strategy to create thoughtfully designed products and experiences.

As a former Co-Founder at UKOO STUDIOS and Product Strategy Consultant at Samsung Electronics, Mike has honed his skills in complex social discussions, mental health education, and brand and community building. He also has experience in marketing and media, having worked as a Marketing Specialist at Reputation.com and Marketing/Media Intern at Smoking Gun Media and STEEZY.

Mike is a proud alumnus of University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied Sociology and served as a Peer Learning Facilitator and Black Male Institute - Research Fellow. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology from University of Southern California.

In his research and practice, Mike explores the impact of technocultural change on our culture, bodies, and consciousness, including the relationships between design, culture, and nature. Living his life as an immigrant, having moved to the US as a refugee and growing up in underserved areas, Mike has become adept at thinking in 4 dimensions across cultures, timezones, contexts, futures, and teams, making him a masterful communicator and facilitator.
