She is the founder of Analog is Heavy, a booming creative studio with a focus on photography. Julia has a passion for bringing thoughtful, vibrant storytelling to tech, beauty, and lifestyle brands. Julia is a Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. She has also studied New Media at Kansas City Art Institute and Truman High School Art Class. Her experience includes founding and establishing photography studios at Wieden+Kennedy NYC, Big Spaceship, and McKinney.

Julia is more than just a seasoned professional; she is a mentor who dedicates her time and skills to helping at-risk youth. As a volunteer at Heart of LA (HOLA), Julia teaches photography and art to budding creatives. She is also the founder of the Handmade Valentine Exchange, an annual event that encourages people from all over the world to exchange handmade valentines via snail mail. This event has grown to include over 1200 people from over a dozen countries.
