Deon D. Price

Deon Price is a seasoned Author and Youth Life Skills Coach with two decades of experience as a Youth Service Worker and ten years serving in juvenile probation. Throughout his adult life, he has dedicated his time and efforts to youth and child development. Currently, he is a Youth Career Transition instructor for the United States Department of Labor. Price Edutainment, his organization, provides motivational talks and seminars to students, educators, and parents across Northern California. Deon's brand of motivational comedy is unique in its humor and professional precision.

Deon writes weekly and monthly articles about modern youth culture and hosts a web show by the same name on youtube.com. His bi-weekly column, titled "This Generation" reaches readers in the hundreds of thousands and has appeared in several publications like the Fairfield Daily Republic, Oakland Post, and The New York Times. To offer his viewpoint on youth-related issues, he has made guest appearances on local TV and radio programs.

Deon holds a bachelor's in Organizational Management/public administration from Ashford University and diplomas in Communication/Youth Development from SFSU and San Francisco State University. Besides, he has also studied psychology, child development, human resource management, and business management.

Earlier in his career, Deon worked as a Juvenile Counselor for San Mateo County before proceeding to become Youth Program Director at the YMCA of San Francisco and YMCA of San Francisco Association. He also served as Outreach & Admissions Supervisor-Job Corps at Treasure Island Job Corps and Associate Director at Larkin Street Youth Services.
