Helena Merk, a former computer science and global health student at Duke University, is a young and promising entrepreneur and software engineer with a wealth of experience in the tech industry. She is the CEO and co-founder of the innovative startup Glimpse, which participated in the prestigious Y Combinator Winter 2020 Batch.

Before starting her own company, Merk worked at several tech companies, including Smartcar and AdoptMeApp, where she honed her skills in software engineering and mobile app development. Additionally, she gained experience in computer security during her internship at One Medical and worked as a software developer and engineering intern at the Duke Reporters Lab and Bracket Computing, respectively.

Her passion for education and sustainability is reflected in her previous work as a teacher's assistant at Silicon Valley Finish School and a regional intern at The Green Schools Alliance.
