Shannon Kraus, FAIA, is a design architect, published author, and speaker with a focus on promoting well-being at individual and community levels through innovative design solutions.

With over two decades of experience in planning and designing healthcare facilities, neighborhoods, and communities in the United States and internationally, Shannon has received numerous awards for his impactful work.

As a thought leader in design and health, Shannon has been actively involved in various initiatives such as the AIA's Design Health Leadership Group and the National Endowment for the Arts funded National Session of the Mayors Institute for City Design.

A board-certified healthcare architect and a contributing author to key industry guidelines, Shannon's dedication to improving community health through design has been recognized through prestigious fellowships and awards.

Currently serving as the Regional Director for the East Coast and a board member at HKS, Shannon continues to lead impactful projects and contribute to the advancement of design thinking in healthcare and beyond.
