Sue Daley is a highly influential figure in the UK's tech scene. She is the Associate Director of Technology and Innovation at techUK, leading the organization's strategy for cloud computing, big data, data analytics, artificial intelligence and IoT. She is a regular speaker at industry events, and is recognized as one of the most influential women in tech in the UK. Sue has also been named as a key influencer in driving forward the data agenda, and was among the UK Big Data 100. Prior to joining techUK, she was the Government Relations Manager UK & Ireland at Symantec, where she spoke at international events on data usage, privacy, cloud computing, and online child safety. She has also worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the CBI, and as a consultant at Weber Shandwick. Sue has an impressive educational background, including a BA in History and American Studies from Leeds University and a Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Birmingham. Additionally, Sue is a qualified personal trainer, and in 2016 she swam solo across the English Channel, raising money for the RNLI.
