Alicia Kenworthy
Alicia Kenworthy is a third-generation Washingtonian with a diverse background in writing, storytelling, and criminal justice reform advocacy. As a Georgetown University graduate, she studied Political Economy and French, with additional education experience in Spain and France.
With various community engagement roles over the years, Kenworthy currently serves as the Director of Content & Community at Uncut.fm, is a former Writer & Storyteller at On Deck, and editor at 3Play Media. She has also worked as a matchmaker, trade advisor, interpreter, and senior ambassador at various organizations.
In 2019, Kenworthy's life took an unexpected turn when she discovered her close friend was incarcerated, leading her to become an advocate for criminal justice reform. This newfound passion led her to focus on editing a collection of letters her incarcerated loved one sent her and creating a narrative podcast on "prison wives" to raise awareness on the topic.
With her unique background and passion for storytelling, Alicia Kenworthy has made significant strides and continues to do impactful work in various communities.
