Warren Brown

Warren Brown is a highly experienced and accomplished leader in the higher education and educational philanthropic sectors, with a focus on curriculum development, student success, and teaching and learning initiatives. He has a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Communication from Portland State University. Brown has held several positions in academia, including President of North Seattle Community College, Executive Vice President for Instruction and Student Services at Seattle Central Community College, and Dean for Student Learning at Cascadia Community College. He has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at Seattle University and the University of Washington. Brown is currently the Executive Director and CEO of COLLEGE SPARK WASHINGTON, an organization that supports underserved students in Washington state to enroll and succeed in college. He has expertise in annual program budgeting, institutional research, faculty recruiting and training, and academic policy and procedure development at the local and statewide levels. Brown's leadership and dedication to education have had a significant impact on students and institutions alike.
