Rachel Rosenfelt

Rachel Rosenfelt is a highly accomplished creative strategist, publisher, and historian with over a decade of experience in organizing and leading collectives, teams, and communities to produce and circulate ideas across various mediums. She is a graduate of Barnard College and has worked in a diverse range of roles across publishing, media, education, and non-profit organizations. Rachel has previously served as the Creative Strategist at Freelance, the Board Chair and Founding Associate Director of Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism at The New School, the Publisher and Vice President at The New Republic, and the Creative Director at Verso Books, among others. She is currently the Historian of the Present in Residence at Gray Area, a Visiting Professor at The New School, and an Associate Research Scholar at Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism. Rachel's range of expertise includes product development, communications, operations, project management, research, editorial content creation, and publishing. She has a passion for critical thinking, social issues, and fostering collaboration and creativity in her work.
