Brent Hoberman, a renowned entrepreneur and investor, has co-founded and invested in numerous successful technology businesses, including Made.com and lastminute.com. As the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Founders Factory, Founders Forum, and firstminute capital, he has played an essential role in providing seed programmes and accelerator programmes, fostering a global community of founders, corporates, and tech leaders, and managing a $300m seed fund with a global remit that is backed by over 100+ unicorn founders.
Brent's success in the technology industry has seen him awarded a CBE for his services to entrepreneurship and named an advisor to four UK prime ministers. He is the Chairman of the Karakuri board and sits on various advisory boards, including Google Cloud, The Royal Academy, the UK Government Digital Service, and the WEF Digital Europe Group.
Brent is also an angel investor and advisor for an array of startups, including Aire Labs, Maven Clinic, and Loveholidays. Moreover, he is a co-founder of academia.edu and Beren Therapeutics, among others. He studied at Eton College as an Oppidan Scholar and holds a Master of Arts - MA in Modern Languages & Literature from the University of Oxford.
