Louis Willacy

Louis Willacy is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Tari Labs, a company that develops the Tari base layer distributed ledger protocol for managing digital assets like event tickets and digital collectibles.

With over two decades of experience, Louis oversees global operations, finance, talent development, regulatory strategy, and commercial transactions at Tari Labs.

His expertise lies in advising technology companies on market entry strategies, complex technologies, M&A, corporate securities transactions, growth, and risk-mitigation strategies.

Prior to Tari, Louis held leadership roles at The Meet Group, Ifwe, Tagged, and The Deal. He started his career at Dewey Ballantine LLP in New York.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Louis is actively involved in education-focused nonprofits, serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at GO Public Schools and on the Board of Trustees at St. Paul’s Episcopal School.

Louis holds a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA in Government from Wesleyan University.
