Transit, Bikes and Scooters at Lyft

Bringing Lyft's in-house developed bikeshare hardware and software to new markets, expanding Lyft's  impact globally. Responsible for the core bikeshare/scootershare platform, features for regulators and external partners, and our rider and partner support operation.

Working to deliver the best possible Rider Experience across transit, bikes and scooters at Lyft, including the end-to-end experience of discovering new modes of transportation, planning a ride, taking the ride and being happy throughout. Managing the PMs responsible for rider experience, payments, pricing/incentives and the underlying software platform, and our rider support team.

Product manager leading work on Transit at Lyft, bringing transit information into the Lyft multimodal app in 15 North American cities. Enables Lyft riders to see transit options nearby, and to see transit and transit+micromobility options when they plan a ride. I set strategic direction, communicated vision and plans, managed three PMs working on multimodal, transit data and transit payments.

Product manager on the Lyft Bikes and Scooters team, working on the post-merger world of bikeshare inside the larger Lyft org, and continued work towards the design and rollout of new ebikes - physical hardware and the supporting rider experience software.

Building insanely popular ways to get around some great cities (New York, London, Montreal, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, Bay Area, etc). Head of product responsible for software and hardware roadmap and prioritization for North America's largest owner, operator, designer, and supplier of bikeshare systems. Working with executives, general managers, engineering, design, marketing and operations teams including 60 software and hardware engineers in NYC and Montreal.

Director of an agile, user-driven software team, building open source web tools for high-visibility community engagement. Our greatest hit was Shareabouts, an effective software tool for engaging communities and collecting input. 

As director of the software side of OpenPlans, I led strategy, product roadmap and business development for all projects, and I looked after our relationships with cities, partnerships with national and local planning firms.
