Johnson is currently the Executive Vice-President & Chief Information Officer at Ashley Furniture Industries, one of the world's largest furniture manufacturers.

Johnson has led the IT strategy, operations, security, analytics, infrastructure, DevOps, and omnichannel transformation at Pier 1 Imports, a leading home furnishings retailer with stores across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, he led the digital transformation and modernization for Cottonwood Financial, a consumer financial services company with 350 stores across the U.S.
