Krystal Leaphart
Krystal Leaphart is a prominent community organizer and strategist hailing from Detroit, Michigan. With over a decade of experience in legislative advocacy and grassroots activism, she is dedicated to bringing about a world that is fair and equitable for all individuals, but especially black women and girls. Krystal has a keen interest in electoral strategy, intersectional political analysis, and scholarship, which she uses to put the tenets of radical black feminism into practice. She holds a degree in Sociology from Howard University. Currently, Krystal serves as the Operations and Policy Associate at the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women (NOBEL-Women). She has previously held other positions, including Chief of Staff and Staff Assistant at IMPACT, a highly regarded political action committee.
