Zeya Yang has an impressive background in finance, product management, and investing. Originally from China, Japan, and Canada, Yang pursued a degree in Commerce at Queen's University and study abroad at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Afterward, Yang worked at Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant, specialized in strategy and financial services. In 2013, she joined Dropbox as Product Manager, leading big data and partner integrations efforts, followed by a role in Strategic Finance. Yang moved to fintech startup Plaid, where she led product efforts, defining a new product line that turned into a significant revenue stream. Her experience in product, engineering, and finance led her to become an investor at Index Ventures before joining Andreessen Horowitz in 2021 as a Partner. Yang invests in early-stage enterprise and SaaS, looking for visionary founders who are changing or creating new categories. In her free time, Yang is interested in hiking, reading, and exploring new cultures.
