Who is Charley Ma?

Charley Ma is an investor, operator, and writer based in the New York City area. He is currently a co-founder and managing partner at Exponent Founders Capital (EFC), a thesis-driven, generalist venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies across fintech, developer infrastructure, enterprise software, vertical software, and AI.2 3

Prior to starting EFC, Charley held growth leadership roles at several high-growth startups:

Earlier in his career, Charley worked in strategy groups at JPMorgan Chase covering payments, APIs, blockchain, and fintech.1
