Kate Wardin

Kate Wardin is a talented software management professional with an impressive corporate background. She holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Software Management along with a Nanodegree in Introductory Programming through Udacity. She has also studied Computer Science and Information Systems along with Communication and Media Studies at the University of St. Thomas. Kate has international experience having studied in Italy and Switzerland through the Upper Midwest Association for Intercultural Education and in Australia through Arcadia University.

She is currently Senior Engineering Manager at Target in the Stores Mobile Technology division, after having previously served as Senior Engineering Manager of API Platform and Senior Engineering Manager of Supply Chain Tools & Visibility. Kate has also worked in other positions at Target, such as Lead Scrum Master, Senior Scrum Master, Scrum Master, Lead eCommerce Project Analyst, Project Manager, and Engineer. Prior to this, she created her start-up, Developer First.

Kate brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her profession. Her expertise includes software management, project management, Scrum methodology, and e-commerce. She has also worked in a variety of roles such as tutoring Computer Science students, working as an Ad Sales Intern at TommieMedia.com, and serving as a Technology Services Intern at Target Corporation.

In her free time, Kate enjoys being involved in the tech community and mentoring other women in the industry. Her passion for her work is rooted in the belief that "the only way to do great work is to love the work you do," as quoted by Steve Jobs.
