Alexandra Mays

Alexandra Mays is a professional with a strong educational background and diverse work experience in policy and regulatory affairs.

She holds a Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School and a B.A. in International Security Policy with minors in Women's Studies and Political Science from The George Washington University.

Currently, Alexandra serves as a Policy Counsel at Competitive Carriers Association, where she is involved in shaping policies relevant to the telecommunications industry.

Previously, she has worked as the Google Public Policy Fellow at New America, gaining experience in public policy and technology issues.

Her early career includes roles such as an Intern at the Wireline Competition Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission and a Regulatory Paralegal at Venable LLP.

Furthermore, she has interned at reputable organizations like the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, the Executive Office of the President, the Executive Office of Governor Lincoln D. Chafee, and for Congressman James Langevin (D-RI) at the U.S. House of Representatives.
